Traverse Academy eked out a one-stroke win over Pentwater Tuesday as
the two schools' season-long battle for the top spot continued at the
Bear Lake jamboree.
Falcons'
coach Alicia Kolenda said the team made a late charge to even the score
that came up just one putt shy of success. The Falcons' team score was
184.
Gavin
Macher led Pentwater with a 44, finishing third overall. Bode Powell
was one stroke behind with a 44. Izzabella Kolenda and Brody Austin
rounded out Falcon scoring with a 47 and 48 respectively.
