Hesperia track teams compete at Ravenna Quad

Hesperia's teams faced off against Ravenna, North Muskegon and Mason County Central at the Hesperia Quad Tuesday. The Panthers were unable to come up with any team victories.
The Panthers' closest matchup was against Ravenna in the girls' meet, with the Bulldogs winning 76-52. The girls also fell to MCC (94-37) and to North Muskegon (89-37).
Boys' scores saw Hesperia lose 101-34 to Ravenna, 114-22 to MCC and 94-30 to North Muskegon.
Betty Jo Gerhardt picked up the Panthers' lone win in the meet, taking first in the high jump with a leap of 4-10.
Two Panther boys finished second; Nate Ruhstorfer was runner-up in the 1,600-meter run (5:10.6) and Andy Lopez-Garcia took second in high jump (5-0).
