Hart soccer rallies to salvage tie with Glen Lake

Despite controlling possession throughout Friday's game against Glen Lake, Hart was forced to settle for a 1-1 tie after being banged up and digging into its depth for players.
The Pirates were down a couple of top forwards in the game, and Addison Barefoot was forced to the sideline the bulk of the contest due to injury. However, Barefoot was able to enter the game with nine minutes to play and score the tying goal off a nice assist from Riltnn Porter.
Hart's defense limited the Lakers to one shot on goal, but the Lakers were able to score it on a one-on-one run to the goal.
"The Pirates pulled a couple of JV players up, who all performed admirably," Hart coach Joe Gilbert said.
