Hart soccer picks up 4th shutout in 5 games, blanks Oakridge

Hart blanked Oakridge Wednesday in West Michigan Conference action, 2-0, the team's third straight shutout win and fourth in five games.
Natalie Rosema and Rilynn Porter teamed up for both Pirate goals. Porter assisted Rosema on the first goal of the game with two minutes to play before halftime, and in the second half Rosema returned the favor, feeding Porter with a good through-ball to set up a goal.
"The Pirate midfield did a good job of controlling the game and winning the ball back early," Hart coach Joe Gilbert said. "The midfield was a hotly contested area during the contest and the Pirates were able to come out on top for the majority of the game."
Hart (5-2, 2-0 WMC) limited the Eagles to four shots on defense and Baleigh Klotz saved both of the ones that got through to her, picking up another shutout.
