Free Senior Center dinner slated for Monday, Nov. 16

The City of Whitehall, in partnership with the White Lake Senior Center, invites local senior citizens to a free community dinner Monday, Nov. 16 from 5-6:30 p.m.
The dinner is made possible through the senior millage funds the city received from Muskegon County. This is the first of three free meals offered to Whitehall’s senior residents from the 2025-26 millage allocation. The dinner will be held at the White Lake Senior Center in Montague.
All Whitehall residents aged 60 and older are welcome to attend. There is no cost to participate, but an RSVP is required to the Senior Center at 231-894-9493. Those under 60 are welcome to attend but will be asked to pay $10 per person.
“We are excited to offer this meal as a way to thank and support our senior residents,” said Whitehall Mayor Tom Ziemer in a press release. “It’s a chance to enjoy good food, good company, and celebrate our community together.”
