Reeths-Puffer battled to a 1-1 tie with Cedar Springs in a rematch of last year's district final - and a potential preview of this year's.
"We left a ton of scoring chances out there tonight," Rockets' coach Kody Harrell said on the program's Facebook page. "We were definitely the enforcer throughout the full match. Plenty to work on and need to clean up in our attack."
Cedar Springs scored its lone goal on a free kick after R-P (4-3-3) was whistled for a handball. Matthew Hansen put in an unassisted goal for the Rockets.
