Reeths-Puffer fought off rival Mona Shores Tuesday night in a tough battle, 1-0. The win marked the Rockets' seventh in a row in the Causeway Cup series.
"The boys battled and continue to learn and grow," the Rockets (2-2-1, 2-0 O-K Green Conference) posted to their Facebook page. "Always nice to get a result when still figuring things out. Super proud of the boys' championship-level effort."
Kam David scored the game's only goal, assisted by Evan McHugh. Keeper Evan McCollum made 13 saves for R-P in an impressive shutout.
