Reeths-Puffer posted a 2-1 record Wednesday night in its first home
event of the season, a quad meet. The Rockets defeated Ludington
(25-15, 25-20) and Ravenna (25-12, 25-19) and lost to Fruitport (26-24,
25-15).
Lexie Danz led the R-P offense with 17 kills, and
Leah Zuniga had 25 digs on defense. Kate Tindall posted 38 assists and
had 17 digs. Peyton Radel notched six aces.
"Tonight was a really fun home opener," R-P coach Syann Fairfield said. "We had some great teams come with a
lot of energy and the vibes were high in the gym. We found bits and
pieces of our game to grow in each of our matches, but we continue
celebrating our small victories within matches and rallies."
