Shelby finished second to North Muskegon Friday at Hart's West
Michigan Conference Rivers jamboree, vaulting the Norsemen past the
Tigers into the top spot in the league.
North Muskegon edged the Tigers by four strokes, 167-171. Hart was fourth with a 194, and Hesperia placed fifth with a 202.
Titan
Carter picked up medalist honors for Shelby, shooting a one-over par
37. He made two birdies and three bogeys, parring the other four holes.
Rafael
Davis posted a 43 for the Tigers, making one birdie, and Ivan Carter
had a 45, also making one birdie. Andrew Arquette capped Shelby scoring
with a 46.
Logan Dean led the Pirates with a 43. Hunter
Loudermilk and Wyatt Johnson each shot a 50, and Braydan Baron and
Colton Samuels both had 51s.
Tim Hoaglin and Alex Scott each shot a 49 to top Hesperia's scorers. Logan Kammer had a 51, and Evan Fuentes had a 53.
