The
second game was even wilder. The Chix rang up six runs in the seventh
to go ahead 10-5, and R-P launched a rally in the bottom of the inning
before falling one run short.
The Rockets totaled seven
extra-base hits in game two, including two doubles by McDaniel among her
three hits. She scored three times. Lorelei Herrygers and Ross each got
two hits and drove in three runs. R-P struggled defensively, making
four errors that led to seven unearned runs. McDaniel struck out six in
five innings and allowed two earned runs on four hits.
