Despite shooting its lowest jamboree score of the season in
Wednesday's Caledonia Jamboree, Reeths-Puffer had to settle for fifth
place, though it was only 19 shots behind first-place Mona Shores.
Kristian
Brown led the Rockets with a 40, which included a long birdie putt on
the par-4 fifth hole. Jordan Benkert and Ian Vokal each shot a 43 for
R-P, and Beckitt Johnson was the team's fourth scorer with a 44.
“Jordan Benkert has been a pleasant surprise this year," Rockets' coach Matt Pallett said. "He has really
worked hard to put himself in the varsity lineup. He was injured for
part of the season and is now healthy and playing well.”
