Shelby clinched the West Michigan Conference Rivers championship in dominating fashion Monday night, routing Ravenna 53-26.
With the win, the Tigers (17-1, 11-0 WMC Rivers) locked up their first conference title since it shared the WMC championship with Oakridge in 2012-13.
The game was a stark contrast to the first time the two teams met, when Ravenna led much of the way until a dramatic Shelby comeback swung the game late.
It was again Jayna Burmeister leading the way for the Tigers, as she ripped off 30 points - shooting 10-of-19 from the field - and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Shelby was good on defense, recording 13 steals, four of them by Kylie Brown. The Tigers also locked down the Bulldog shooters, holding them to only 19% from the field and 0-of-9 from three-point distance.
