Montague dropped a West Michigan Conference Lakes game at Fremont Monday night, 57-24.
It was the second time in four days the two teams played; Monday's game was a make-up date from a snowed-out game in January.
The Wildcats (4-14, 3-8 WMC Lakes) hung in with Fremont early, trailing only 15-12 after a quarter, but the Packers opened it up from there, outscoring Montague 18-4 the next eight minutes.
Annelyse Schneider led the Wildcats with nine points. Taylor DeKuiper had 26 points and 16 rebounds for Fremont.
