Montague rolled past Orchard View Tuesday night in West Michigan Conference Lakes play, 25-6, 25-9, 25-19.
The Wildcats (3-13-5, 1-2 WMC Lakes) racked up a large number of aces in the win, including a remarkable 15 by Hallie VanTuyl among 25 service points she scored in all. Kaitlyn Leatherman added six aces.
On offense, Annelyse Schneider had eight kills and Ellie Hedges had six in only 11 attempts. Schneider and Ellee Smith had a block apiece.
Ava Dean paced the Wildcat defense with 17 digs, and Layla Denhof recorded 19 assists.
