Shelby dropped a non-conference game to Black River Friday, 4-1, giving up four consecutive goals to end the game.

Llanas opened the scoring with his second goal of the season on a
counter-attack, coach Cristian Arellano said. Five minutes later, Black
River tied the score en route to a 3-1 halftime lead, and Shelby was
unable to get any more goals.
The River Rats outshot the Tigers 17-3 in the game.
"Black
River was able to take advantage of mistakes made by our young team and
exposed our weaknesses off the ball," Arellano said.
