bracket play.
The Rockets got plenty of close-game experience
throughout the first four matches, with many of them coming down to the
wire. R-P easily defeated East Kentwood 25-20, 25-12 to open the day,
then split a match with Fruitport (22-25, 25-22), edged Lakewood (25-23,
25-22) and tied Hart (25-19, 18-25).
R-P then dropped a tough match to NPC in the bracket, 25-23, 25-21.
Lexie
Danz paced the Rocket offense with 37 kills on the day, and Peyton
Radel added 22. Kate Tindall had 89 assists at setter, and Mackenzie
Danz led the defense with 46 digs. Libero Leah Zuniga added 44.
Radel and Lexie Danz each had three aces, and Makayla Jewett posted five blocks.
