Montague easily came out on top in the West Michigan Conference
Lakes' first jamboree of the season Thursday, shooting a 185 to win by
17 strokes.
The Wildcats had the top two scorers in the
jamboree. Addi Smith took first place with a 41, including a birdie, and
Molly Mulder was just one stroke behind. Brynlee Kessler (seventh) and
Marguerite O'Connell (eighth) shot a 50 and 52 respectively to earn
top-10 finishes.
Whitehall finished third, four strokes behind
Ludington, with a 206. Riley Shafer led the Vikings with a 45 and
Kelsie McClure added a 47. McClure scored a birdie during her round.
Kadee TenBrock shot a 56 and Avarie Bentz had a 58.
