Hart rallied from an early two-goal deficit to score a 2-2 tie
against Glen Lake Thursday, behind two goals from sophomore left winger
Julian Tejada.
Tejada took advantage of good passing from his
teammates for both goals. Freshman Hart keeper Kaleb Edenburn was
credited with two terrific saves, one on a rebound of the first, to
preserve the deadlock.
"I was
really proud of the boys for battling back from being down 0-2,
especially with this young squad," Hart coach Guillermo Ortega said. "They didn't shut down at any moment of
the game and executed well in the second half to keep Glen Lake
scoreless. Glen Lake was a very strong team, and they had some good
players who had size and speed."
