Jordan Wolting added three hits and two RBI, and Gaby LaFevet had two hits and two RBI. Burmeister got the win in the circle, striking out 10 and allowing two hits.
Shelby scored 14 runs in the third inning of game two to turn a 4-3 game into a mercy rule triumph. A barrage of RBI singles got the Tiger offense rolling in the inning, and Emma Stovall capped things off with a two-run double that ended the game. She had two hits and three RBI in the game.
Also for the Tigers, Burmeister had two hits, two RBI and three stolen bases. Hali Hayes also had two hits and two RBI, scoring three runs. Wolting picked up the win, allowing three hits and striking out three.
