Hart smothered Holton Tuesday night, 72-17, to pick up a West Michigan Conference Rivers road victory and move to 8-1 overall (5-0 WMC Rivers).
"The Hart Pirates showcased balanced scoring and exceptional
teamwork throughout all four quarters," Hart coach Nick Bronsema said. "Defensive pressure, along with solid offensive execution, was the difference."
Caleb Ackley posted a double-double for Hart, with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Kolton Rockwell added 11 points.
Also for Hart, Bryce Vander Kodde had seven rebounds, Miguel Escamilla posted six assists, and Grant Ackley had five steals.
