Hart picked up a tough non-conference win at Western Michigan Christian Monday night in a defensive battle, 48-39.
The Pirates (12-2) led by only two points going into the final quarter, but Hart maintained its lead and was able to seal the win at the free throw line, with Kolton Rockwell and Lorenzo Furlan combining to go 9-of-10 down the stretch.
Rockwell earned a double-double in the win, with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Caleb Ackley had one too, chipping in 13 points and 11 boards. He also blocked five shots. Jagger Lenon chipped in 10 points, and Luke VanderWilk had seven points and seven rebounds.
