The Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce (WDCC) will host its 17th Annual Trinkets & Treasures Fundraiser, Sept. 25–27 at The Lakes Mall, inside the former American Eagle Outfitters store.
The huge indoor yard sale features thousands of donated new, gently used, vintage and collectible items, including clothing, accessories, home décor, housewares, books, toys and more—all organized into a store-like shopping experience.
Shopping hours will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free during regular sale hours; for a $5 donation, shoppers can come early Friday, from 9-11 a.m. Shoppers can also find $5 and $10 grab bags and $5 mystery bags.
Net proceeds will be divided equally among three local nonprofits: Big Lake Humane Society and Community Animal Clinic, Fresh Coast Alliance, and Step Up. WDCC has set a goal of raising $18,600 in net proceeds this year.
Since 2006, Trinkets & Treasures has raised more than $231,912 for 41 community organizations. The event also provides affordable merchandise to area families, keeps usable goods out of landfills, and donates remaining merchandise to other local charities following the sale.
