Reeths-Puffer runners hit the course at the massive Ottawa Hills Invitational Friday, with over 20 teams scoring in the Rockets' session of the race.
R-P's girls team finished in 20th place out of 22 scoring teams, while the Rocket boys were 22nd of 23 scoring teams in their session.
Harper Roberts and Hope Gordon continued their team-leading freshman seasons for the Rocket girls, finishing 78th and 90th respectively. Roberts' time was 21:02.6 and Gordon's was 21:20.7. Riley Bordeaux placed 134th in a time of 22:41.1, and Darcy Keefe was 154th in a time of 23:37.9. Closing out the scoring was Sidney Shackelford, who was 173rd (25:39.1).
For the Rocket boys, Gabriel Luna placed 155th to lead the team, posting a time of 18:42.8. Landon Learn was 166th in a time of 19:02.2, followed by Kyron Novak in 170th (19:10.98). Kasyn Novak (177th, 19:24.8) and Bo Blair (194th, 20:06.1) finished R-P's scoring.
