Montague High School is heading to the great outdoors for its 2026 homecoming celebrations next week, inspiring the Wildcats to explore different climates of the world.
The school will host its all school pep assembly Friday, Sept. 18 in the Montague football stadium, weather permitting. The homecoming parade takes place at 6 p.m., beginning at Oehrli Elementary School, and the Wildcats' game against Orchard View is the site for the crowning of the king and queen at halftime.
The homecoming dance at the high school will cap the festivities Saturday, Sept. 19 from 7-10 p.m.
As always, the school will encourage dress-up days for homecoming week leading into the celebrations. Monday will be USA Day, followed by Jersey Day on Tuesday, Theme Day on Wednesday (freshmen - Arctic, sophomores - desert, juniors - ocean, and seniors - jungle). Thursday will challenge students to bring in their textbooks in Anything but a Backpack Day, with Blue and White Day the Friday theme.
