The 20th Annual White Lake Area Labor Day Community Walk returns to the Montague Trailhead Monday morning, Sept. 7, inviting community members to gather for a leisurely walk across the pedestrian bridge into Whitehall.
The trailhead is located behind Whitehall Products and Montague Foods.
Modeled after the Mackinac Bridge Walk that takes place up north each year and drew over 33,000 participants in 2025, the Labor Day Community Walk
City officials and area leaders will walk with the people of the community across the White River Bridge to the White Lake Chamber & Visitor's Bureau offices, located at 124 W. Hanson St. in Whitehall. Casual conversation and a positive atmosphere are welcomed at the event, bringing the two communities together.
Healthy refreshments will be available at the Chamber Depot after the walk.
