ROAD (Reviving Our American Democracy), a nonpartisan organization seeking to expand citizens' knowledge on issues affecting the area, will host a session Tuesday, Sept. 15 at White Lake Community Library from 5-7 p.m. discussing various recycling options in Muskegon County and locally. The discussion is entitled, “Can I recycle this? Local and beyond."
Jeff Auch, Montague City Manager and former head of the Muskegon Conservation District, will be lead speaker. With his depth of knowledge, he will present an overview of past and current programs and what the future might provide. Sara Cooper from Muskegon County will present information about the county’s current and future recycling operations. Finally, Wiley Fry of Montague Commoners will discuss plans to expand recycling options in Montague.
