The Playhouse at White Lake runs its professional Summer Theatre Festival through Aug. 16, with high quality and humorous entertainment.
The closing production on their summer season is the hit musical Always, Patsy Cline which chronicles the deep friendship between Patsy and a longtime fan and friend, which continued through the years of Patsy’s early career through which Cline's fame skyrocketed. Patsy Cline is played by locally beloved talent, and Playhouse Musical Arts teacher, Shelby Mason. Early ticket sales are encouraged with box office opportunities at the door if seats remain, and it will run for two weekends, closing out the festival Aug. 7-16.
In addition to extending their traditional season length, the Playhouse has added double matinees with reduced pricing and Pay What You Can options for at least one show of each event. Discounted flex-pass season tickets allow for more entertainment at a lower price, when purchased in bulk and both passes and individual tickets are available at the Playhouse website.
