Muskegon Area District Library announced Aug. 17 that Betty Adams will be its new director. Adams comes from Dearborn and has also directed libraries there, in Inkster and in West Fargo, North Dakota.
Adams will be part of a meet and greet Thursday, Sept. 3 at the Norton Shores branch of the library from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
MADL said in a press release that Adams is working on connecting with all MADL staff and looks forward to getting to know the area.
