Learn how to use herb gardens to make tea Tuesday

Herbs can bring beauty and fragrance to a garden, add flavor to favorite recipes, and provide the ingredients for a comforting cup of tea. Community members will have an opportunity to learn more during “Tea for You, Tea for Me,” a special program featuring Lynn Bryant of Lovage Garden Company.
The event will be held Tuesday, Aug 18 at 6 p.m. at White Lake United Methodist Church.
Bryant will introduce participants to herbal tea gardening and offer practical advice for growing herbs that can be used in homemade beverages. The program will also explore herbal infusions, including how herbs can be prepared to bring out their distinctive flavors and aromas.
Participants will be able to sample herbal teas and discover new possibilities for using plants grown in their own gardens. Whether someone is an experienced gardener, an enthusiastic tea drinker, or simply curious about herbs, the program will offer an enjoyable introduction to growing, preparing, and tasting herbal teas.
