The White Lake Golf Club will host a free three-day girls golf clinic July 26-28 at its practice facility on Michillinda Road for girls age 7-12.
The clinic will consist of two days of play on the course's holes 2-5 (10-shot limit) and one day of skills practice at the driving range, which will include putting, chipping, full swings and playing a ball out of the sand. All three days of the clinic will take place from 4-6 p.m.
Sunday, July 26 will feature on-course play, followed by skills practice Monday, July 27 and more on-course play Tuesday, July 28.
There will be a 3:1 participation to instructor ratio, as registration is limited to the first 24 girls to register. Instructors will include members of the club's women's association as well as high school players from both Whitehall and Montague. There is no experience necessary, only a desire to have fun and learn the game. Equipment will be provided if needed.
