Muskegon Community College is inviting first through eighth-grade students to beat the midsummer heat with its annual STEM camp, MCC’s hands-on learning and discovery workshop at the Sturrus Technology Center. A two-week long youth retreat, MCC’s STEM camp offers an opportunity for kids to dive into science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive, age-appropriate activities that are both educational and fun.
Sessions will run over two weeks: July 6–9 for Week 1, and July 13-16 for Week 2. Each day offers an a.m. session from 9 a.m. to noon and a p.m. session from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
“STEM Camp is such a fun, educational, and rewarding experience for kids,” said Dr. Stephanie Briggs, MCC STEM Camp Coordinator, in a press release. “Here at the Sturrus Technology Center, we’re creating an environment that supports both intellectual and emotional growth in children.”
The cost is $85 per class and includes t-shirt, class, snacks and lunch. To register your child, visit www.muskegoncc.edu/events/stem...
