Whitehall dominated Manistee in Tuesday's pre-district home game,
blanking the Mariners 4-0 behind a 25-0 advantage in shots on goal.
Reese
Hesse piloted the offense with a goal and an assist, and Kate Beda, Bre
Izaguirre and Morgan Parsons each scored once. Kaylyn Blaske picked up
the shutout.
"The wet conditions didn't slow things down,"
Whitehall coach Laicey Chamberlain said. "The Vikings came out of the
gate strong, keeping the intensity up throughout the match."
With the win, the Vikings advanced to face Fremont in the district semifinals at Fremont next Wednesday.
