The White River Light Station will open for the season Tuesday, May 12 and be open seven days a week through Sept. 7.
Hours will be 1-5 p.m. Mondays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays during the summer season. The station will continue through the fall season from Sept. 10-Oct. 25 and be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays.
Guests can climb the lighthouse for $8 (adults) and $5 (17 and under) during the operating season. Active military members and veterans can climb the light for no charge.
Children must be at least 40 inches tall to climb, and for guest safety, they may not be carried up the stairs.
