Reeths-Puffer fell short of an O-K Green Conference title by
splitting Tuesday's doubleheader againt Jenison, knocking the Rockets
into second place behind Byron Center.

Green) routed the Wildcats in game one, 14-3, scoring twice or more in
each of the final five innings of play to break open a 3-3 tie.
Olivia
Ambler had the game's big offensive highlight by blasting a three-run
homer to center field in the sixth inning. Ambler also had a double in
the game, collecting three hits overall.
Tessa Ross got four
hits, including two doubles, and Lorelei Herrygers had three hits.
Lainey McDaniel got the win, allowing six hits and striking out five.

led 7-5 after three innings in the nightcap before Jenison ripped off
eight runs in the fourth to get the win. Carlie Guikema hit a three-run
homer in the first inning to get the Rockets going and went 4-for-4 in
the game. Herrygers, Makayla Jewett and Madi Reichert each got two hits,
one for extra bases. McDaniel pitched 3 2/3 innings of relief, allowing
no earned runs on three hits and striking out four.
