Reeths-Puffer soccer ends 10-year winless streak against Mona Shores

Reeths-Puffer finally broke through against rival Mona Shores Thursday, ending a decade-long winless streak in the rivalry by beating the Sailors 2-1 on the road.
It was the first time since the 2016 conference championship season for R-P (8-5-1, 4-3-1 O-K Green) that it has defeated Mona Shores.
Jaslynn Kops scored both R-P goals, one in each half. The second half goal came on a penalty kick. Sara Carlson made four saves in goal for the Rockets.
