Reeths-Puffer, fresh off a solid performance at its home meet the
previous Friday, was unable to carry momentum into Monday's home
jamboree, finishing in fifth place with a team score of 178.
“Sometimes following up good rounds of golf with another good round is
tough to do," Rockets' coach Matt Pallett said. "We found that out tonight. We played well at home on Friday
but struggled tonight.”
Jordan Benkert led the Rockets in scoring with a 42, making a birdie on the par-5 second hole.
“Jordan Benkert has been playing well as of late," Pallett said. "He works hard and always wants to get better.”
Ian
Vokal, who birdied the same hole, was second on the team with a 43.
Beckitt Johnson shot a 46 for R-P, and Kristian Brown and Carter Hekkema
each had a 47.
