Montague had its most successful day of the season so far Tuesday,
sweeping Manistee in West Michigan Conference Lakes play 13-4 and 21-11.
In
game one, Kaelyn Lohman hit her first career home run, and every
Wildcat in the lineup got at least one hit. Olivia McKeown got the win,
striking out eight in six innings.
The Wildcats kept the
momentum going in game two. Emma Trevino had a bases-loaded triple that
drove in three runs, and Lohman hit an inside-the-park home run. McKeown
again got the win in the circle.
