Montague battled the elements Wednesday and held its own at the
Oakridge Invitational, earning a third-place finish with a team score of
333 - only seven shots behind winner Western Michigan Christian.
Ethan
Balon and Michael Flanagan both had impressive days for Montague, each
shooting a 77 to tie for secnd place overall. Neither player did worse
than a bogey on any hole, and Flanagan scored two birdies in his round,
with Balon adding one Tanner DeVries added an 89, and Jonah Henderson
and David Gowin each shot a 90. Henderson made one birdie.
