Hesperia couldn't do much against the potent North Muskegon
Norsemen Tuesday, dropping a West Michigan Conference Rivers
doubleheader 22-0 and 12-1.
The Panthers (1-15, 0-10 WMC
Rivers) briefly tied the nightcap 1-1 when Evan Conkle ripped a RBI
double in the third inning, but North Muskegon came back with four runs
in the bottom of the inning and rolled from there.
Hesperia had five hits in the game by five different players. Marshall Norris got a hit and also drew a walk.
The
Panther bats were stymied in game one, managing two hits. Tucker Bolles
got a hit and drew a walk. Six Hesperia errors led to 13 unearned runs
by the Norsemen.
