All four Reeths-Puffer singles players reach semifinals at tennis regionals

Reeths-Puffer finished fifth at Friday's Division 2 regional tournament at Forest Hills Northern, scoring nine team points to finish one point behind fourth-place Greenville.
The Rockets scored all but one of their points in singles play, as all four flights advanced to the semifinals. All four received first-round byes and won second-round matches, and all four fell to FHN opponents in the semis.
Olivia Smith topped her first No. 1 singles opponent, Lowell's Asmin Karaosmanoglu, 6-1, 7-6(7), before falling in the semifinals to top seed and eventual champion Harriet Ogilvie. Hope Latsch beat Ottawa Hills' Lisa Lin at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1, and lost a semifinal match to No. 2 seed Avery McKenzie.
At No. 3 singles, Molly Matz defeated Ottawa Hills' Clara Guest, 6-3, 6-2, then bowed out to top seed Aanya Dogra. Kaitlyn Durow edged Lowell's Gracie Lyonnais at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 7-6(8) and fell to top seed and eventual champ Audrey Kowatch.
Kayleigh Brown/Jayla Brink scored R-P's only doubles win, winning their first-round match at No. 2 doubles over Alexa Gonzalez/Courtney Seymour of Wyoming 6-2, 6-2. They fell to top seed Sadie Koffman/JJ Marsiglia of Forest Hills Central in the second round.
