Whitehall's teams held their own Friday at the Allegan
Invitational, with the Viking boys finishing fourth out of 15 scoring
teams while the girls' team was 10th of 16 scoring teams.

coming up with individual wins. Mendoza won the high jump with a leap of
6-6, and Olstrom posted a 13-0 in pole vault to take the win. Mendoza's
6-6 additionally earned him an early qualification to the state meet in
that event, as the Allegan meet qualified for EQ status.

LeBlanc, Evan Jud, Jevon Hilliard and Rex Pumford ran to a time of
8:21.7.
