Whitehall finished second, with Montague in sixth, at Tuesday's Montague jamboree at Old Channel Trail Golf Course.
Whitehall's team score was 168, 13 strokes behind jamboree winner Ludington, and Montague shot a 181.
The
Vikings got balanced play from their lineup, with five of the six
players scoring between a 41 and a 43. William Burger led the team with a
41, not doing worse than a bogey on any of his nine holes. Jones
McDowell and Rylan Johnson each shot a 42, and Finn Novy and Gabe
Gilbert each carded 43s.
Ethan Balon paced Montague with a 43,
followed by Tanner DeVries with a 44. Michael Flanagan shot a 45 and
Jonah Henderson and Bobby Orwat each had a 49 to round out Wildcat
scoring.
