The White Lake Youth Theatre will host two sets of day camps this spring for students who wish to be involved in performing this spring and summer.
The Missoula Children's Theatre offers Sleeping Beauty this April 6-10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a performance Friday, April 10 at 3 p.m., and WLYT hosts Disney’s Dare to Dream June 15-20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday through Saturday, and a show Saturday with spaces remaining in both musical play camps. Camp registration is $160 for the five-day camp Monday through Friday, April 6-10, Sleeping Beauty, which is open to ages 6 and up, and $200 for the six-day camp in June, Disney’s Dare to Dream, running Monday through Saturday, June 15-20, for ages 8 and up.
All students who register for spring camp will audition on the first morning for Sleeping Beauty, or in the case of summer, they will need to advance audition before the camp. All students receive a role to perform as part of registering for camp, and will be cast by the first afternoon for Sleeping Beauty. Those who register in advance for Disney’s Dare to Dream, with guaranteed performance experiences, will be cast in advance auditions and the sooner they are registered, the better.
Both spring and summer musical camps are $150, with partial scholarships available to students and WLACE homeschool students eligible, with opportunities for behind-the-scenes education if children prefer not to perform.
