Reeths-Puffer track drops dual meet to Caledonia

Reeths-Puffer was unable to match the impressive depth Caledonia has in the teams' O-K Green Conference dual meet Tuesday, as the Scots won 95-41 in the boys' meet and 105-32 in the girls' meet.
Mason Darke set a new personal best in the 100-meter dash to earn one of the Rockets' four event victories, posting a time of 10.92 seconds. Ethan Rolewicz also set a personal best in winning the 200, with a time of 23.42 seconds.
Evan McHugh won the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.93 seconds, and JaMichael Williams picked up a win in high jump with a personal best leap of 6-3.
"We had a lot of personal bests and good performances tonight but Caledonia has a lot more depth," R-P boys coach Don Ketner said.
In the girls' meet, Zaire Wright continued her strong season with another win in shot put, posting a mark of 31-4.75. Jersi Bilek picked up the Rockets' only other win in the meet and set a personal best in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:28.99.
