Whitehall and Reeths-Puffer closed out their cheer seasons Saturday with solid efforts at their respective regional meets.
The Vikings finished ninth of 12 schools at the Division 3 regionals in Hudsonville, scoring 686.18 points. Whitehall ended the season strong, with its best round being the final round. The Vikings scored 286.3 points in round three, only five fewer than fifth-place finisher Paw Paw.
Reeths-Puffer was sixth at the Division 2 regionals at Forest Hills Northern, missing out on state qualification by only 10.16 points. The Rockets struggled early, but like Whitehall delivered their best in the final round, scoring 303.7 points, ranking fifth among competing schools in that round.
