There will be a presentation on data centers Tuesday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the White Lake Community Library in Whitehall.
Not intended to express a point of view about data centers, the presentation is designed to build understanding regarding the complicated and evolving topic, so our community can be involved with local and state decision-making. In addition to an overview of what data centers are and why they can have such high water and energy needs, it will include the role and importance of local ordinances, understanding state tax incentives, and land use. The presentation will last roughly 45 minutes, with time for discussion and questions afterwards.
