Montague's track teams opened their seasons Friday at the Grand Valley State Laker Challenge indoor meet, with 39 smaller schools competing.
The highest individual finish for the Wildcats came from Annelyse Schneider, who finished fifth in high jump in the girls' meet, clearing a height of 4-10.
Two Montague boys earned medals in the meet. Dylan Bailey took sixth in high jump with a mark of 5-8, good for a personal best. Isaac French was seventh in shot put with a throw of 46-0.75.
