Whitehall dug itself a huge early hole it couldn't climb out of Thursday night at Ludington, and the Vikings lost to the Orioles 48-31.
Ludington built up a 23-4 lead after a quarter. Whitehall outscored the O's by two the rest of the way, but the damage was done.
Clare Westerlund led the Vikings with 10 points and five rebounds, and Peyton Schultz added nine points.
