Behind stars Corde Anderson and Elijah Smith, Whitehall had one of its better games of the season on both sides of the ball Tuesday night to secure a needed 62-46 win over Orchard View in West Michigan Conference Lakes play.
The duo combined for 41 points - 22 by Anderson and 19 bySmith - to lead the Vikings (5-7, 3-2 WMC Lakes) to the victory. Anderson was especially efficient, going 8-of-10 from the floor.
Anderson also had eight rebounds and Smith grabbed seven. Smith had four assists and four steals and blocked two shots, and Pierce Westerlund also had
four assists, with six boards.
Alex Winczewski hit 3-of-5 three-point attempts and had 13 points.
