Walkerville lost to Mason County Eastern in a competitive West Michigan D League matchup Wednesday, 50-38.
The
Wildcats (1-7, 1-6 WMD) were down just a point going into the final
quarter, 32-31, but MCE took advantage of several second-chance baskets
to pull away for the win.
Grace
Riggs led Walkerville with 12 points and six. rebounds. Gaby Berumen
and Jamari Carter each had seven points and combined for 16 steals, and
Isabel Babbin had eight points.
